"Serrats" Preserves only use White Anchovies of the finest quality "Engraulis Encrasicholus" captured in the best moment of the season, between April and June, in the Bay of Biscay.Our White Anchovies are cleaned, have the head and guts removed, and are marinated in vinegar for 36 hours, afterwards they are packaged in an artisanal vinaigrette.Our White Anchovies are highlighted by being elaborated by hand, in a thorough artisanal process, that prefectly cleans and prepares the white anchovies so they are perfectly cleaned, white, tender, and at their peak flavour.Their consumption is recommended as an excellent source of Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin A,D, and some of the B vitamins. In addition they are an excellent source of protein and minerals (magnesium, iron, and iodine).They can be eaten plain as an appetizer; and also dressed with just a bit of olive oil, garlic, and parsley... Simply delicious!They are recommended to be eaten within 3 months of purchase and stored in a refrigerated area between 5 and 8 degrees Celsius.
