Serrats preserves only use anchovies of the finest quality "Engraulis Encrasicholus" captured in the best moment of the season, between April and June, in the Bay of Biscay.

Our anchovies are notable for being elaborated by means of a meticulous and handmade process, very similar to salted Anchovies, which maintains the original characteristics of the anchovies. Because of its meat and aromatic flavour, our Anchovies fillets are a delicacy.

Finally, the Anchovies are covered with specially selected organic extra virgin olive oil. This olive oil is of the highest quality in every sense. It has an excellent flavour and aroma, and is made in a manner that respects the standards for ecological agriculture.


Conservas Serrats is a company dedicated to canning fish since 1890 in Bermeo, a small fisher town in the north of Spain . Its objective is to offer the best possible quality, that´s why they use the best raw materials, top quality Albacore Tuna and Anchovy Filets of the Bay of Biscay; specially selected fish and always respecting traditional fishing gear. These preserves are made following a careful artisan process, perfected and transmitted over five generations.
