El Tequileño was founded in 1959 by Don Jorge Salles Cuervo with the vision of creating only the finest tequila. Sixty years later, El Tequileño is still crafted in the same location using the recipe passed down from Don Jorge's grandson. It is the third best-selling brand in Jalisco, Mexico, the main tequila-producing region and the country's most competitive market. Among its varieties, you can find Blanco Tequila, Reposado, Platinum which matures for 14 days in large American oak barrels, or Reposado Rare, one of the most special with a 6-year aging process in American oak casks.
