At Caviar Pirinea we are fish farmers.

Since 2013, we have been breeding large rainbow trout and sturgeon in the privileged location of the Pyrenees.  

This location offers us a large flow of cold water of extreme purity, coming from the thaw. We breed our fish in rivers with high altitude, such as the Aragón, Gállego, Cinca and Segre, free of pollution and with a high level of oxygen in the water. This allows them to live without stress, in a natural environment, enjoying continuously renewed and clean water that follows the natural course of the river.  

We adapt to the biodiversity and characteristics of each valley, using sustainable and environmentally friendly farming methods.  

Our trout enjoy a gourmet menu, made from fishmeal and GMO-free. A 100% sustainable diet as it does not require fish from extractive fishing. All this results in a fish of superior quality, totally safe and a nutritionally complete food.  

Derived from these two fish, we produce a wide range of top quality gourmet products, such as smoked Pirinea trout, hot-smoked sturgeon, trout roe, canned sturgeon, sturgeon pâté with caviar and, of course, our prestigious "Per Se" caviar.
