Red Wine Tempranillo

From the experience of working in old vineyards, the winery opens a new horizon in a new land: La Rioja Alavesa. Valdegarú is a Tempranillo wine fermented in concrete tanks and with a slight passage through different 500-litre barrels.

Partially fermented as carbonic maceration.

Aged for 6 to 8 months in 300 and 500 litre French oak barrels.

Family winery specialising in Garnacha wines. Located in the northern part of the Somontano D.O., in the heart of the pre-Pyrenees, in the 1990s it began a project to recover old vines in the area around the Secastilla Valley.

Today, it is one of the reference wineries, with a large number of recognitions and high scores from the most renowned wine professionals such as Robert Parker or Tim Aktin.

From 2021, and inspired by the work done in Somontano, a new adventure begins in Rioja Alavesa with Valdeagarú, a unique Tempranillo.
