Liberso is a curious Verdejo that comes from a blend of 15 different wines.On the one hand, 31% of Liberso is a young wine that has lain on its fine lees for more than 9 months. The rest comes from 14 individually produced wines fermented in barrels made by an exclusive selection of french and hungarian coopers (300 litres). Bottled in July 2022.
My name is Ignacio Hernández, I’m a vigneron in DO Rueda (Valladolid), close to the Duero river in Spain.
I’m reaching you because I am attending Salon Gourmets next April 22-25th and would like to have an meeting with your Spanish wines buyer in order to present my own winery and wine based on the Verdejo grape.
From 2015, I’m creating a singular wine called Liberso, a coupage coming from 18 different wines, 17 fermented and aged in oak barrels for 7-11 months and one more aged over its own lees.
