Bodegas Carpe Diem has an exquisite variety of wines under two denominations of origin: D.O.P. Málaga, for naturally sweet wines and liqueur wines, such as Carpe Diem; and D.O.P. Sierras de Málaga, for white, red and rosé wines, such as Montespejo. Bodegas Carpe Diem was born as a result of the acquisition of the historic Bodega Scholz for aging and solera wines originally located in the capital of Malaga. From 1977 to 1993, bulk wine was marketed for different wineries in the province. In 1993, as a result of the initiative and intense work of the Virgen de la Oliva Andalusian Agricultural Cooperative Society and its partners, Bodegas Carpe Diem was created and the first bottled wines were launched on the market by the variants Gadea Tinto, Montespejo Blanco and the Carpe Diems.
