The wines dreamed of and made reality by the oenologist Cristina Calvache. In 2004 she began her career in the family winery, achieving from 2008 an extensive international record with only 30 years. Among the awards they have to their credit are the European "Vinalies Internationales de Paris", the "Brussels World Contest", the "Mundus Vini" in Germany, a World Championship that he wins in Slovenia in 2008 with the Wine Collection Cristina Calvache Syrah, and a 2005 Cabernet vintage ranked by the World Association of Wine and Spirits Journalists and Writers among the 30 best in the world.In Sierra Nevada, within the Natural Park, our oldest vineyards of the Jaén Blanca variety are located, in the area called Montenegro, cultivated in glass and dry, on the hillside, between 1,000 and 1,200 m above sea level, with soils composed of slates, black schists and red schists. On the other side of the Sierra Nevada we have established vineyards of our red varieties: Tempranillo, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, over 1,000 m of altitude, with a soil composed mainly of red schist and quartzite.
