Cítricos del Andarax

The SAT "Cítricos del Andarax" is an Organization of Producers dedicated to the marketing of citrus fruits both for processing and for sale fresh. It was born in 1993 by the initiative of 12 small farmers from Bajo Andarax (Almería) and an area of ??only 12.5 hectares. of citrus trying to obtain a higher yield from their farms. It currently has 920 members and a total of 985 hectares. distributed in 42 municipal districts of Almería, Granada and Seville. The headquarters are located in the municipality of Gádor, Llano del Ron s/n., province of Almería.The productive staff of our entity exceeds 30,000 Tm. of citrus fruits, mostly oranges, with very diverse varieties: whites suitable for juice (Castellana, Salustiana and Valencia Late) and navelinas, navels, lane late, etc. in great demand for fresh. We also have mandarins of various varieties: clementine, marisol, oroval, etc. The diversity of our production allows us to supply our customers for much of the year.
