The water of Granada, of balanced mineralization, together with the great quality of the provincial flour is basic elements for obtaining breads of enormous quality in various parts of the province, such as the bread of Alfacar, which has a Protected Geographical Indication due to its extraordinary quality and the artisanal process.

Ovens and firewood have managed to maintain in Granada its long history of pastries learned from the Arabs and evolved hand in hand over the centuries. In the exquisite Granada pastries, we also find delicate specialties, as many as convents and orders are deployed in the Grenadine lands.

Granadina pastries taste like honey, almonds and spices, essential ingredients of our sweets with deep Arab roots.

Sabor Granada is an umbrella brand that encompasses products and companies from complementary sectors to promote the knowledge and consumption of Granada's food, its quality, and variety. We work on promotion at professional events with a joint brand image, as well as other supportive measures to promote the growth and improvement of our agri-food companies' indicators.

Sabor Granada, as an entity with its own promotion channels, was established in 2015 and has undergone significant evolution after betting on the professionalization of its development. This decision and the decisive commitment to the project by the Granada Provincial Government have achieved an exponential growth of the brand, both in the number of adhering companies and in its knowledge and visibility.

Currently, there are over 200 agri-food industries participating in this project. This significant number of companies and the climatic characteristics of Granada lead to a great variety of products. At Sabor Granada, you can find everything from subtropical products to typical high mountain products, something that sets us apart from other territories.
