The White Tuna is a blue fish belonging to the tuna family that, during the year, lives in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and, between June and September, migrates to the Cantabrian Sea, during which time the so-called "Cantabrian Coast" (its fishing season) takes place. The white meat and intense flavor of this fish, make it considered one of the most valued of its kind.
Frinsa's White Tuna in brine is made from selected specimens, caught one by one during the fishing season. The peculiarity of this product is its raw canning process which, by only cooking the food once, allows the product to maintain its properties practically intact, highlighting its high protein content of high biological value.
