Arbquina&world is a historical tribute to the intimate relationship between Spain and the spice route that for 250 years linked Asia, America and Europe through the Manila Galleon, which traveled the Manila-Acapulco route once a year. From the American ports, the Spanish ships carried in their bilges, to the Iberian Peninsula, the precious spices from Asia and the New World, which were then distributed throughout all the European countries. Spices contributed to enriching and enhancing traditional culinary rites by merging with local flavors.
From Castillo de Canena we would like to invite you to a sensory journey around the world. A unique tribute to the Spice Route in which we evoke the spices of Europe, America, Asia and Africa in four unique flavours. To make them we have selected, with the help of a master picolier, the most characteristic spices from each of the continents and we have infused them with our exquisite Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil. In this gastronomic journey, Taste of America evokes smoky flavours, while Taste of Asia is a citrus explosion.
