Nose:
Very intense, sweet, ripe, it reminds strawberry jam, black fruits in season, Indian ink and liquorice. Toasted and smoked notes. Sweet background of vanilla
Mouth:
Powerful, with a fruit-bearing expression, turns out to be fresh but with character. Sweet tannins and meaty. Great development and notable tour. Balance.
Finish:
Tasty, enveloping and persistent.
Abadía de Acón is a family project located in the heart of the DO Ribera del Duero in Castrillo de la Vega (Burgos).
Based on the Vineyard as the "key" that support our company, we use sustainability criteria and wisdom, always ensuring a perfect ripening without forcing the vines, to get the highest quality wines.
We have our own plantation of 55 hectares, all within the DO Ribera del Duero, 95% of the local variety "Tempranillo" and the rest belongs to the varieties "Cabernet Sauvignon" (3%) and "Merlot" (2%), maintained a plantation winemaking philosophy based on the use and control of the production and processing of grapes, combining innovation and tradition.
