ELABORATION Pre-fermentative maceration for 7 days until spontaneous fermentation began, made in stainless steel. Where the temperature has been controlled so that it does not exceed 20 degrees, with which we achieve a 50-day fermentation. Malolactic fermentation carried out in French oak barrels for two months.

TASTING NOTES Cherry red color with violet hues, middle layer, aromatic complexity reminiscent of red and black fruits, floral hints, great body on the palate, great freshness and long-lasting persistence.

 

 

 


10 Delirios Bodegas y Viñedos is a project located in Navatalgordo, a small town in Ávila affected by depopulation and located in the Sierra de Gredos.

This project is formed by José María and Esther, two passionate about viticulture but above all about our town, where we have returned to carry out our most crazy project: the recovery of old vineyards, almost a hundred years old, and the enhancement of our wine roots, making this beautiful corner of the Sierra de Gredos known.

In the year 2015, we acquired the first vineyard, it was the moment in which the project began to take shape, because in this campaign we already began to elaborate the first experimental wines in the traditional winery of grandfather Teodoro. Four years later, our project became a reality with the first official harvest of 10 Delirios, being the first winery in Navatalgordo, located almost 1,300 meters above sea level.

Currently, we have 5.5 hectares of old Garnacha Tinta vineyards (ages between 70-90 years) distributed in more than 40 plots, with granitic mineral soils, a low glass system, slopes between 10-30%, and heights from 800 to 1,200 meters, all covered by the DOP Cebreros.

These ground conditions mean that most of the processes are carried out manually and traditionally, being ourselves the ones who carry them out in a sustainable, natural and respectful way with the environment that surrounds us.
