Grape Variety: Tempranillo
Denomination of Origin: D.O. VINOS DE MADRID
Wine-making: made from exceptional grapes collected from our best Tempranillo vineyards which are harvested during the night to protect them from high daytime temperatures. The must macerate with it skins to ensure that as much of the fruit aromas as possible were retained and the maximum colour was extracted. Alcoholic fermentation, which takes place in stainless-steel tanks at strictly controlled temperature, is followed by malolactic fermentation.
Tasting Notes: Bright, deep cherry red colour with violet rim. Excellent aromas from Tempranillo variety such as raspberry, currant, cherry and floral notes. Flavoursome and fresh, with a gentle tannin.
Pairing: perfect to pair whether with red or white meat dishes, rice, mushrooms or cured and blue cheeses.
Vinos y Aceites Laguna has more than 100 years of agricultural tradition, when the Laguna family began to make wines and oils following the most traditional craft methods of the area.
Built in 1971, the winery and mill is located in Villaconejos (Madrid). It is surrounded by our ancestor’s lands, to which we have been incorporating some others over the years. It is here where three generations of this family currently work together with the invaluable support of great professionals who contribute to our products development.
