Encina Blanca de Alburquerque is more than a winery or a wine, it is a very personal project that began with the search, among the centenary vineyards of the municipality of Alburquerque, of the traditional varieties in the viticulture of the area, which perfectly capture the concept of terroir, where each wine expresses the nuances and singularities of the variety and the area of elaboration. The winemaking tradition of the area, with its roots in the Roman Empire, reached its peak during the 15th century, when its wines were the delight of the court of King John II of Castile.

For more than ten years, Encina Blanca de Alburquerque has identified and reproduced these millenary varieties, some of them unique in the world, in organic vineyards, with which to produce unique and exceptional wines. The collection of our wines is a tribute to varieties that have been historically forgotten due to their low production, their complicated viticulture and their special elaboration, and that today's tastes, due to their uniqueness, have rescued.

Encina Blanca de Alburquerque elaborates very limited and exclusive productions of its high expression wines, under organic farming conditions, preserving the vineyards, favoring nature to follow its cycle and ensuring its maximum expression.

All of them recognized with more than 40 awards in national and international competitions of recognized prestige, are the expression of the pillars of Bodega Encina Blanca de Alburquerque: tradition, innovation and respect for the environment.
