Family winery founded by unforgettable Mrs. María´s 4 granchildern. Located in Sierra de Gredos region in the Alto Alberche area, an very important wine-making tradition area that is currently trying to recover due to the excellent quality and age of its vineyards. Arisen with the premise of excellence, our intention is to transmit and show the wonderful wealth of the area.
In 2017 we released our first vintage of natural wines under the Cebreros PDO. All of them stand out for their exclusivity and unique characteristics. We elaborate Garnacha with different procedures but always maintaining the premise of minimal intervention and fidelity: We want our wines to express their essence.
Our main production line is the Avaviento brand, a wine faithful to the typical Gredos Garnacha. Our portfolio is completed by Avaviento Oaked, aged in oak barrels of the highest quality, Avaviento Amphoae, made in traditional clay jars, Avaviento La boina de Charló, the first world production of our "barolo" style Grenache and our exclusive small plot wines like El suspiro de Goyo.
Organic wines made from 100% red Garnacha grapes that come from traditional vines, grown at an altitude of more than 800m and with a predominantly sandy granitic soil composition. At present we cover a vineyard area of ??about 20 hectares in which we cultivate in a natural and organic way Garnacha Tinta and Albillo Real with vines that are between 50 -100 years old ...
