 New Aledo oil soap: Originality is going back to the origin. In the oil mills, a complementary activity to the production of olive oil has been the making of soap for centuries; large artisan soap bars that were discontinued around 1950, due to competition from industrial soaps from large multinational companies. They were natural soaps made with olive oil according to the particular formula that each mill had. In Aledo we keep the old soap-making manual and even samples of the soaps that were made in the oil mill in the 19th century and that have helped us to recover them. The soap made with olive oil (which is responsible for the healthy and radiant skin of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers) compared to industrial soap made with chemical ingredients, is artisan, natural, moisturizing, nourishing, toning, highly recommended for sensitive skin, and it has no colorants. Leaves a thin film on skin and hair, which is why it is often a substitute for moisturizer or mask. For its presentation (packed by hand in brown paper) we have opted for the indigo color, (blue also known as indigo, Santander, Bourbon, ultramarine, Bilbao ...) symbol of neatness.
