Our story began more than half a century ago, before the Spanish Civil War, in a small village into the León´s Eastern Mountain, beside “Picos de Europa”, Boca de Huérgano, where our family began to bake bread and sweets to supply our neighbors, custom that continues after three generations.
Until few years ago, in our land we were known as “Panadería el Molino” (The Mill Bakeri), but to face the challenges of such a globalized world, we want that even our name represents the intrinsic flavors of our land, León, for it, and giving honor to it, we have become “PANADERIA TIERRA LA REINA” (EARTH THE QUEEN BAKERI).
All our products are handcrafted with 100% natural ingredients, combining traditional values and family recipes with the necessary technological advances to provide a demanding, dynamic and safe service, offering our customers the highest quality and “THE TRADITIONAL TASTE”.
Our RANGE of products includes the best bread in the area, typical Leon’s “Tortas Dulces” (Sweet cakes) and Delicious muffins, as well as “Bollo de Leche” (Milk bun) characteristic in Picos de Europa festivals. We also have “Sequillos” (lard cookies), one of the most popular sweet, thanks to its unique texture is the perfect whim to enjoy in the long and cold winter evenings. Finally, our flagship product, “Pastas de Mantequilla” (butter cookies). Top quality delicacies that have become a benchmark of Leonese gastronomy, manufactured ussing local cow's milk and butter made by ourselves, these cookies produce an explosion of flavor turning them into an incomparable sweet that will not leave you indifferent.
