70 g Can of Candeleda's Hot Smoked pimenton/paprika El Sequero. Product of a hand-crafted tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation by the Gómez-Nuñez family for mor than two centuries.

Smoked-dry using oak an holm oak woods, which is made with no added oils or additives and always removing the stems of the fruits.

Our smoked-paprika El Sequero has reached 228 degrees in the ASTA index for the packaged product. A much higher level than the 120 degrees the American Spice Trade Association considers the minimum for a paprika of extraordinary quality.


We are pleased to present you with our smoked paprika, EL SEQUERO: an exceptional spice, product of a hand-crafted tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation since the 17th century without any modi?cations.

Its colour, ?avour and unmistakable aroma come from a long and arduous process in which we hand-pick our local varieties; water them using the pure and crystalline waters of the Gredos passes; and smoke-dry them using oak and holm oak in special hundreds of years old structures called "sequeros" during 15 days and 15 nights.

Our paprika is also made with no added oils or additives and always removing the stems of the fruits guaranteeing a content of 100% paprika.
