Our vineyard, situated in Feria (Extremadura, Spain), comprises 4 hectares of limestone, located at the foot of mountains (average altitude of 600 metres), maintaining the typical varieties of the area, Grenache (Garnacha and Garnacha Tintorera) and Carignan (Mazuelo), and adding a proportion of Petit Verdot, an innovative touch to recover a wine with personality. Tradition combines with modern technology to produce personal red wines that capture the essence of the land. An important feature of our wines (Domblasco and Sueño de Facio) is that they mature in centuries-old earthenware wine vats until bottling or aging in oak barrels.
There are two red wines assigned to this market:
Sueño de Facio (translation; Dream of Facio) - a blend of Grenache, Carignan, and Petit Verdot aged in clay jars then French and American oak for a further 6 to 8 months before bottling.
Domblasco - 100% Grenache - A red of pure Grenache aged for at least 8 months in earthenware.
Total production is around 10,000 bottles per year, currently largely released in Spain.
