Accreditations for journalists


We welcome you to the online accreditation service for press, digital media and communication and thank you for your interest in the 36th Salón Gourmets 2023 (SG), International Fair of Quality Food and Beverages.

The online accreditation application service will remain available until Friday 14 April 2023 at 17:00 hours. After this date, we are unfortunately unable to secure your documentation.

All data and documents requested will be validated by the SG Communication Department, who will verify the information received in order to process your accreditation and reserve the right to reject any application that does not comply with the requirements described below. SG has the right to modify the conditions and requirements to apply for accreditation and to exercise the right of admission.

If your application is approved, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you with the tracking number. We recommend that you check your spam folder. If you do not meet the minimum requirements for validation of your application, you will also be notified by email.

During the days of the Salon Gourmets: 17, 18, 19 and 20 April 2023, there is the possibility of accreditation at the press counters located at the South entrance of Ifema Madrid.


Press

Press accreditation is aimed exclusively at national and international journalists, photographers and cameramen, or those professionals who, not having the qualification, can accredit their journalistic work, in newsrooms, programmes or production companies, related to the subject of the SG: gastronomy, food, catering, beverages, hotel and catering and travel.

Along with the form, the following must be enclosed:

  • Scanned copy of the valid press card of national and international organisations, associations, colleges and unions of print and written press (international organisations belonging to the International Federation of Journalists -FIP/IFJ-).
  • Scanned copy of the valid press card of the media organisation you work for.
  • If you do not have a press card, you must present a document certifying that you work or collaborate in the media or editorial direction with the signature of the company.
  • Failing this, you must also present a copy of the magazine, staff, article or recent work that confirms that you have been working in the media for no more than six months. In the case of radio and television; an audio or video of the programme must be submitted.

This accreditation allows access to 36 SG and the Press Room*, the working area at the fair during the four days of the event.

*The Organisation reserves the right of admission to the Press Room.

Communication and Advertising

If you belong to the commercial, marketing or advertising department of a media or agency in the gastronomic sector, you must apply for the Communication accreditation.

Along with the form you must attach:

  • ID card and the card of the media or company you work for or a supporting document.

This accreditation allows access during the four days of the 36th Salón Gourmets, but not to the Press Room*.

Digital / online media

Digital media, blogger/s and social media content creators must be accredited through the link below. Accreditations will be issued according to the subject matter of the blog, i.e. it must generate quality content related to one of the SG sectors: gastronomy, food, catering, beverages, hospitality or travel.

Essential:

  • One year since its creation.
  • Regular updating of content (1 month).
  • More than 2,000 visits per month on the website/blog.
  • The domain in the contact email from which accreditation is requested is that of the blog.
  • More than 5,000 followers/subscribers on social networks, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Linkedin.

A maximum of 2 accreditations may be requested per blog, provided that it can be demonstrated that the members are actively involved in the blog.

This accreditation allows you one day access to 36 SG, but not to the Press Room*.
