Opening of the Online Accreditation Period for the 39th Salón Gourmets 2026

Welcome to the online accreditation service for press, digital media and communication. Thank you for your interest in attending the 39th Salón Gourmets 2026 (SG), the world's leading showcase of fine food and drinks.

The deadline to apply for online accreditation is Thursday 9 April 2026 at 18:00 hours. After this date, no new applications are guaranteed to be accepted.

The SG Communication Department will verify all data and documentation provided and reserves the right to reject applications that miss the specified requirements. SG reserves the right to modify the conditions and requirements for applying for accreditation, as well as the right of admission.

If your application is approved, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a tracking number. It is recommended to check your spam folder. If your application does not meet the requested requirements, you will also be notified by e-mail.

*During the days of the SG, which will take place from 13 to 16 April 2026, there is also the option of accreditation in person at the press counters located at the South and North entrance of Ifema in Madrid.

Press

Press accreditation is specifically aimed at national and international professionals in journalism, photography and production of written or audiovisual content related to gastronomy, food, catering, beverages, hospitality and travel. Professionals who do not have a specific qualification but who can demonstrate their journalistic work in newsrooms, programmes or production companies related to the aforementioned subjects may also apply.

Documents required along with the application form:

  • Scanned copy of ID card or any other document proving your identity (with photo).
  • Valid press cards from national and international organisations, associations, associations and trade unions of the print and written press. This includes international organisations affiliated to the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ/IFJ).
  • Current press card of the media organisation you work for.
  • If you do not have a press card or media card, you must attach a document certifying your work or collaboration with the media outlet. This document must be signed and stamped by the company.
  • Failing this, you may present a copy of the magazine, staff, article or recent work that confirms that you have been working in the media for no more than six months. If you work in radio or television, you must submit an audio or video of the programme.

Press accreditation gives you access to 39th SG and the Press Room, the working area at the fair during the four days of the event.

*The organisers reserve the right of admission and the length of the stay Press Room.

Communication and Advertising

If you belong to the commercial, marketing or advertising department of a media or agency in the gastronomic sector, you must be accredited by clicking on the following link:

Documents required along with the application form:

  • Copy of your ID card and ID card of the company, medium you work for or any other supporting document proving your relationship with the gastronomic sector.

The Communication accreditation allows you access to the 39th SG but not to the Press Room*, the working area at the fair during the four days of the event.

Digital / online media

Digital media, blogger/s and social media content creators must be accredited through the link below. Accreditations will be issued according to the subject matter of the blog, i.e. it must generate quality content related to one of the SG sectors: gastronomy, food, catering, beverages, hospitality or travel.

Essential requirements for accreditation application:

  • Age of the blog or digital media: at least one year since its creation.
  • Regular updating of content: maintain an update frequency of at least once a month.
  • Web traffic: receive more than 4,000 visits per month to your website or blog.
  • Contact email: the email used for the accreditation application must be associated with the domain of the blog or digital media.
  • Social media followers: more than 10,000 followers or subscribers on various social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn.

A maximum of 2 accreditations may be requested per blog provided that it can be demonstrated that the members are actively involved in the blog.

This accreditation allows you one day access to 39th SG but not to the Press Room.
