The Gourmet Wine Guide, The Best of Spain, gathers in the ’99 League those wines qualified, with 99 points on a scale of 100 by the Tasting Committee. Sublime wines that stand out thanks to their strong personality, elegance and exceptional qualities. Facing the occasional question: If they are the best why not rate them with a 100?, the experts explain "because perfection does not exist, we leave that final point to the criteria of our readers, since it is the taster or wine amateur who has the power to assess it.” Due to the dynamic of these awards the number of honored labels varies from one edition to the next, fortunately we can assure that every year between 15 and 20 sublime wines are found.
