The aim of the VII Estrella Galicia Beer Pouring Championship - Certamen Madrid is to promote Beer Culture and recognise the work of bartenders as a fundamental step in the distribution chain of Estrella Galicia products. The service is the final moment of a brewing process that begins with the ingredients in A Coruña. The professionalism of the bartenders is essential for the service to add value to this process, offering the customer the best possible beer. The Jury, will be fully committed to assess the quality, excellence in service and brewing knowledge of the aspirants to the title. Analysing each exercise, scoring based on previously established parameters, the style and technique of the draft, the degree of perfection in its execution and the final presentation of the beer service.
In addition to a trophy, the beer-pouring champion received €1000 and its weight in Estrella Galicia Beer
Fernando de la Hoz Fernández of the restaurant El Raso (Collado Villalba, Madrid) was the winner, demonstrating his skill when pouring a beer under the watchful eye of the jury, which took into account aspects such as style, technique, execution and final presentation.

The jury will be composed of members of the Hijos de Rivera Beer Culture department and professional brewers, hoteliers and gastronome selected according to the criteria of professionalism and experience established internally by Estrella Galicia.
