The objective of the 7 Beer Muring Madrid Contest, Estrella Galicia , is to promote the beer culture and to recognize the work of the barmen as a fundamental link in the chain of distribution of Estrella Galicia's products.This edition also has a differential point with respect to previous editions, and that is that the participants will be professionals who work in Estrella Galicia's Bodega Breweries, ambassador establishments where brewing values acquire their maximum expression.
The service is the final moment of an elaboration process that begins with the ingredients in A Coruña.The professionalism in the service of establishments is fundamental to enhance all the possibilities beer offers to consumers.
The Jury, linked to the brewing sector, will be fully employed to assess the quality, excellence in service and the beer knowledge of the candidates to the title. Analyzing each exercise, scoring based on previously established parameters, the style and technique of the pouring, the degree of perfection in its execution and the final presentation of the beer service.
Beer pouring is an art with growing recognition every day. A draft beer is not simply to put the glass under the tap and open it, it must be served with an specific technique so the client can fully enjoy the beverage.
