Vorarlberg Mountain Cheese (raw milk) is an origin protected speciality ripened 16 months.

Vorarlberg Mountain Cheese is made from hay milk. Its designation of origin is protected within the EU and it is a cheese that comes with tradition. The cheese is matured for 16 months in our natural cellar. It has elegant fragrances of white bread, light caramel, walnut and the exotic note of passion fruit. The cheese strikes the palate with an aroma of concentrated butter, which develops exquisitely through the softly melting, slightly crystaline dough.

The company Vorarlberg Milch is a cooperative of approx. 500 farmers.
47% of Vorarlberg is alpine area cultivated by small farms. The average herd size is between 17 and 19 cows. The alpine variety of herbs and grasses is the reason for the unique milk. Having experienced our beautiful Ländle it is unquestionable that we are manufacturing the best alpine milk. Vorarlberg Milch is processing exclusively GMO-free milk origin of Vorarlberg.
