Club Gourmets, the leading magazine in Spanish gastronomy, asks its readers each year to value the most relevant professionals of the year, as well as establishments and media, amongst other categories.

Since 1976 and through more than 500 issues, the most prestigious chefs, both national and international, famous restaurants, winemakers and sommeliers have been recognised, and the magazine has assessed the latest products and travelled to the remotest places of the world to cover exotic culinary production.

The readers of Spanish gastronomy’s leading magazine are in charge of choosing the winners of the 8th edition of the 2019 Club Gourmets Awards. The winners of this edition are:

  • Best restaurant: Annua, San Vicente de la Barquera, Santander.
  • Best chef: Nacho Manzano. Restaurante Casa Marcial, Galicia.
  • Bestmaître: Alejandro Rodríguez. Restaurante Coque, Madrid.
  • Best sumiller: Jon Andoni Rementeria. Restaurante Remenetxe, Bizkaia.
  • Best shop: La Tintorería Vinoteca,Madrid.
  • Best product:Aceites ecológicos Oleum Laguna. Villaconejos.
  • Best hotel (Ex aequo):
  • PuebloAstur, Asturias.
    Hotel Rector, Salamanca.
  • Best communicator: Pepe Monforte. Cosas de Comé.
  • Organism or Institution: Tierra de Sabor -Consejería de agricultura y ganadería-Junta de Castilla y León.
  • Best gastronomic book: Comer es una historia. Óscar Caballero.
  • Extraordinary recognition: Alberto Chicote.
