Luberri is a life project with which we express a genuine way of understanding wine: adding up tradition and modernity, with a deep knowledge of their land, Rioja Alavesa, and its fruit, the Tempranillo grape native to the region. Balanced and elegant, with body and color, it is critical to get that fruit that young wines have. On the other hand, it is optimal for aging.
The cellar was founded in 1991 and since then it has been enlarging its estate, upgrading its winemaking and aging facilities, and increasing experience and knowledge. On this track, the proximity to consumers is as important as the straight contact with the land. Undestanding what they think and what they look for in wine allows producing a unique product.
Honesty is a foundation value for Luberri. The cellar's personality is passionate and direct, idealistic and practical. Able of dreaming great wines and to unit all elements necessary to make them. The vineyard, a nature-friendly viticulture, the instinct to know when to harvest, the well-established methods of production, the barrel aging. These all results in a range of reds wines with great fineness and a powerful structure. With something special, a delicate aroma that is deep and full of nuances. These are wines to understand a country, an environment, a world. Wines for pleasure.
