“The octopus (Octopus vulgaris) is a cephalopod, characterised by its eight tentacles which have two rows of suckers. It lives among the rocks along the coast, at depths of less than 200 m.

Its diet includes mainly bivalves, fish and small crustaceans. It is caught using special traps.

”Frinsa octopus comes exclusively from Galicia. It is prepared using the tentacles of the mollusc, which are cut by hand and canned, adding only olive oil to enhance its genuine and authentic flavour.
