La Rioja, March 2018.- Valdelacierva, the Rioja winery of the Hispanobodegas Group, presents the new vintage of its wine Valdelacierva Rosé 2017. After the success achieved last year, its second vintage is presented as a fun, informal wine with personality, at the same time that it preserves the aromas and flavors of the authentic rosés de rioja. The one chosen as representative of Spanish wines by the NGO "Fashion for Relief" by Naomi Campbell and the best rosé from Rioja, arrives with its new vintage to join the wine portfolio of the winery and surprise with this wine that comes from the bleeding direct grape 100% Tempranillo.Its preparation, selection of grapes from the vineyards of the Rioja Alta area, together with its image and little production (only 8,000 bottles), have turned Valdelacierva Rosé into a unique opportunity to enjoy this young wine that has been made a hole among the quality pink wines.

A rosé with rebellious personality

With a fresh, modern and fun image is a pink that finds its appeal in a pale, salmon-like color and with an intense, elegant and complex nose, with a lot of fruit expression, especially peach and strawberry, without leaving behind some floral notes very particular of this vintage 2018. The palate is sweet, with volume and has a balanced step and a long and fresh aftertaste. A wine that timidly calls, but with firm and sure step, to the podium of the most desired pink wines. Its price is 9 euros and is available in 75 cl format.

About Valdelacierva Wineries

Founded in 1988, they belong to the Hispano Bodegas Group with wineries in Rioja, Ribera del Duero and Rueda. Valdelacierva is located in the heart of the Rioja Alta (Navarrete) and has more than 200 hrs. of vineyard that is distributed in small plots with vines of 25-130 years old. The winery has a young and dynamic character, is inclined towards the production of wines with the label of the terroir and the Tempranillo grape as the protagonist. The wines from the winery come from selected vineyards in the towns of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, Briones, Baños de Ebro and Yécora.
